Many things inspire me, from religious freedom to environmental protection, but I am inspired most by youth who have realized their own potential to initiate and produce positive changes in their environment. In addition, youth who have taken their own meager resources to create change in their community without the support of others (e.g. politicians and alike) have also been an inspiration to me. The fact that young people are often jobless, less empowered, less fortunate under most (if not all) circumstances and with this situation they struggle to overcome such difficulties by using the information, experience, skills and opportunities available to them in the right way.
I am also inspired by giving back to the community without reservation, as I feel that the first gift that i can generate from nothing is to be part of a social environment which becomes my community. ( read more)

There is so much that has enriched my life, in spite of the Liberian civil crisis.
As a child, I should have been watching television; I should have been in school learning biology to understand how cells developed and how they die, sociology to know how social factors alter our behaviors or psychology to understand how war affected perceptions but the war taught me the opposite of what I wanted to learn.
